Colby Boothman is an American actor and swordsman, best known for playing Leon in Colin Trevorrow's Jurassic World and performing motion capture work for Star Wars Battlefront.[2]
He began his swordsmanship as a fencer in the Fédération Internationale d'Escrime and later learned lightsaber combat from Star Wars stunt coordinator Nick Gillard.[3]
Boothman was the guest star of the Mythbusters Star Wars: The Myths Strike Back special on the Discovery Channel, teaching Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman lightsaber combat, and deflecting high-speed projectiles with his sword.[4]
