Colla IV was the planet[3] where droidekas were manufactured[2] by the Colicoids,[1] while the droid tri-fighter's three-armed design mimicked the skull features of one of its ferocious predators.[3]

Behind the scenes

Colla IV was first mentioned in Star Wars: Episode I The Visual Dictionary, a Star Wars Legends reference book written by David West Reynolds[4] that was released on May 26, 1999.[5] It became canon when it was mentioned in Star Wars Journeys: The Phantom Menace, an iOS mobile game[6] that was released on April 22, 2014.[7]
