Combat guilds were organizations existing throughout the galaxy that trained civilians in military-style combat. During the Galactic Civil War, spacers often visited trainers in combat guild halls in order to be trained to ranged, melee or unarmed combat. One such combat guild was based out of Bestine on Tatooine.[1]
