The human Ives served as an Imperial communications officer on board the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Vigilance during the Battle of Endor.[2] Major Taslin Brance served as a communications officer at the Resistance base on D'Qar during the Cold War.[5] Elia Kane served as a communications officer in an Imperial remnant led by Moff Gideon aboard his light cruiser during his attempts to capture Grogu[8] in 9 ABY.[12]
