The Compliant was a Star Destroyer used by the Imperial Navy.[1] In 14 BBY,[2] the Compliant was present at the planet Pii's Imperial marshaling station, along with another Star Destroyer, the Enforcer.[1]
At that time, a rebel cell led by Berch Teller attacked an Imperial convoy in a star system Coreward of the Gulf of Tatooine. Teller hoped this attack would impede the progress of an Imperial construction project over Geonosis, which was the convoy's final destination. Both the Compliant and the Enforcer were dispatched from Pii to assist in the battle, although when they reached the system with their engines and hyperdrives, the rebels had already been defeated by Moff Wilhuff Tarkin's Imperial I-class Star Destroyer Executrix, which had joined the battle following the initial surprise attack on the convoy. Tarkin initially thought the two Star Destroyers were enemy reinforcements, but he was then informed by a technician that the vessels were friendly. After the reinforcements' arrival, Tarkin sent out a boarding party to the rebels' disabled command ship, where the survivors were imprisoned.[1]
