Confidence Cloth applicator
The Confidence Cloth was a type of bandage with microcapsules impregnated in the fabric to release psychoactive chemicals in the presence of the wearer's stress hormones. The chemicals slightly increased the wearer's confidence and aggression, supposedly improving the ability to intimidate opponents. Critics charged that this effect was almost entirely psychological. It was illegal on certain puritanical Core Worlds.
