"This holoprojection was a gift from Queen Ressa of Drezzi to thank Darth Nyriss for her merciful treatment of the royal family when the Empire conquered their world. Her husband was executed, but the queen and her children were spared."
―Sechel, to Scourge[src]

A conquest was carried out by the Sith Empire on the planet Drezzi[1] prior to the Great Galactic War,[2] a galactic-wide war fought between the Galactic Republic and the resurgent Sith Empire started in the year 3,681 BBY.[3] The Sith Empire conquered Drezzi, but Queen Ressa and her children were spared by Sith Lord Darth Nyriss. Ressa's husband, however, was executed. Sometime later, Sith Pureblood Sechel told the tale of Drezzi's fate to Sith Lord Scourge.[1]

Behind the scenes

The conquest of Drezzi was first mentioned in the second chapter of the novel Star Wars: The Old Republic: Revan, written by Drew Karpyshyn and published on November 15, 2011.
