- "As soon as the base is destroyed Alpha group will report back to their command ship."
- ―An Imperial briefing officer, in reference to Control
Control was a CR90 corvette used by the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War within an Imperial simulation. In the simulation, it served as a command ship for the TIE bomber squadron Alpha Squadron during an attack on a Rebel outpost, which would ultimately become a victory for the Imperial forces.
As a CR90 corvette, Control had a length of 150 meters, a hull rated 50 RU, and a maximum speed of 20 MGLT. Its armament included two turret-mounted dual H9 turbolasers, with one on the dorsal side of the corvette and one on the ventral side. The ship also had a certain level of shielding along with gray plating with red stripes with an orange tint.
During a simulated attack on a Rebel outpost, Control served as a command ship for a TIE bomber squadron called Alpha Squadron, which was assigned to destroy the outpost. It also served as a command ship for the Delta-class DX-9 stormtrooper transport Walker 1, which could reload the TIE bombers if they ran out of torpedo warheads.
The Imperial I-class Star Destroyer Cavalry would stand in for Control in case the corvette was destroyed during the simulated bombing. During the attack, some of the outpost's ships fought back against the Imperial vessels, and Control itself was attacked by transport group Axet, although the transports were quickly destroyed by the TIE bombers. After the outpost was destroyed, the TIE bombers returned to Control. The simulation was featured in the Imperial combat training simulator, where TIE bomber pilots could test their skills with the torpedo warhead.
