The Core Five, also known as the Council of Five, was the governing body of the InterGalactic Banking Clan on planet Scipio.
Overview[]
The Core Five was the board of directors of the InterGalactic Banking Clan and the head of the planetary government of Scipio. Consisting of five financial moguls, the Core Five met within a council chamber at the Banking Clan's Main Vault at the center of the planetary capital.[1]
After the rise of the Galactic Empire, the Core Five were allowed to remain in power, at least symbolically. The planet Scipio was blockaded by the Imperial Navy, with Moff Boyse commanding from the bridge of his flagship the Exchequer.[1]
