"I've outrun Imperial starships. Not the local bulk cruisers, mind you. I'm talking about the big Corellian ships, now."
Han Solo[src]

The Corellian Engineering Corporation, abbreviated CEC, was a Corellian starship manufacturer. Its products included several models of freighters, such as the YV-666 light freighter,[15] the YT-1300 light freighter,[13] the VCX-100 light freighter,[11] the VCX-150 freighter[12] and the Baleen-class heavy freighter.[2]

Other CEC ships of note included the Gozanti-class cruiser[11] and its C-ROC variant,[17] the CR90 corvette,[5] the interstellar trash hauler,[8] the Consular-class space cruiser, and the G9 Rigger-class light freighter.[3]

Aside from ships, CEC also built masking transponders,[9] weapons systems like the AG-2G quad laser cannon,[1] and escape pods such as the Model CEC Class-1.[10]

Han Solo's father worked for CEC, building the YT-1300s.[18]

By the time of the Battle of Scarif, CEC had been Imperialized by the Galactic Empire.[16]
