- "I've got membership in the Corellian Merchants' Guild and the Mandroxan Cartel both."
- ―Tryphon Leo, Smuggler's Guide
The Corellian Merchants' Guild was a guild associated with the planet Corellia. The freelance smuggler Tryphon Leo was a member of both the Corellian Merchants' Guild and the Mandroxan Cartel during the reign of the Galactic Empire, a fact that Leo wrote down in the book Smuggler's Guide.[1]
By 35 ABY,[3] the Corellian Merchants' Guild was one of the most influential guilds in the Thieves' Quarter of Kijimi City on the planet Kijimi along with the Lantillian Spacers' Brotherhood and the Intracluster Gatherers.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
The Corellian Merchants' Guild was first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in the 2018 reference book Star Wars: Smuggler's Guide, written by Daniel Wallace.[1] The Corellian Merchants' Guild originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in the The Star Wars Sourcebook, a 1987 sourcebook for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game written by Bill Slavicsek and Curtis Smith.[4]
