A pair of X-wing fighters perform the Corellian Slip
The Corellian Slip was a type of starfighter combat maneuver. When an enemy fighter trailed a friendly craft, another friendly ship would fly directly at both friend and foe, veering off at the last moment to destroy the attacking enemy ship. The tactic was named after the Corellian smugglers who supposedly invented it.
During the Battle of Yavin, Wedge Antilles performed a Corellian Slip to shoot down DS-61-4, who was chasing Luke Skywalker.
