The Corellian sector[1] was a rich, industrialized sector[8] located in the galaxy's Core Worlds. It notably contained the Corellia system and the planet Neral.[2] In the peaceful centuries that preceded the Clone Wars, many large and powerful warships were built to defend that sector.[8] During the Galactic Civil War, the fleets of the Alliance to Restore the Republic and the Galactic Empire fought above a terrestrial object in the sector. The Rebel fleet consisted of an MC80 Liberty Type Heavy Star Cruiser, two Assault Frigate Mark IIs, and two MC30c frigates, while the Imperial fleet was composed of an Imperial-class Star Destroyer, a Gladiator-class Star Destroyer, six Arquitens-class command cruisers, and seven Raider-class corvettes.[9]
