Corweillians were the inhabitants of the Corweillia system in the Mid Rim.[1][2] Von Taub was a Corweillian.[3]
Behind the scenes[]
The Corweillian Von Taub appears in the novel Jedi Apprentice: The Evil Experiment, written by Jude Watson and published by Scholastic in 2001. The book does not specify whether the term Corweillian refers to a sentient species or is merely a demonym, such as Corellian or Hapan.

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Corweillia appears to be one such case.
