The Criigo insurrection, also known as the insurrection at Criigo, was a battle at Criigo between the Galactic Empire and New Republic some time before the battle above Desevro. The Empire sent in the most merciless squadrons at its disposal. One New Republic pilot saved several lives during the battle, and Sabine Wren later created an inspirational piece of art to honor this iconic individual.[1]
