Upon arriving on Umbara, the ship immediately set on top of the train the traitor was operating and so the Commander along with Lana and Theron landed on the train and headed for the control car. The trio dispatched the various Umbarans that protected the train and so they arrived at the control car. Upon opening the doors of the control room they discovered it was empty. Lana confusingly said that according to her signal the traitor was still in the car with them. Theron raised his weapon to shoot the Commander but Lana took the hit though not fatally. The Commander was confused of this revelation and Theron locked the two in the control room and destroyed the breaks.

The Commander wanted to know the reason behind this betrayal and Theron stated that ever since the Commander defeated Vitiate and took the Eternal Throne the cycle of war had never stopped and it was all the Commander's fault that this had to be done. The Commander responded that Theron could have brought this problem to him beforehand but Theron simply rebuffed saying that it wouldn't have changed anything as taking control of the Eternal Throne had brought out the worst in the Commander. Theron then escapes on a speeder and destroys the train tracks knowing that Lana and the Commander were still alive.

Conflict

The Alliance Commander met with Theron Shan on Odesson to discuss the current events occurring on Iokath after the defeat of the superweapon; TYTH and the subsequent revelation of a traitor.

Theron Shan reported that the efforts to identifying the traitor from among their ranks has been fruitless despite their surveillance of the entire organization. The Commander then noted that further surveillance would be pointless and told Theron to abandon it. Lana Beniko arrived and reported that she traced the traitor's signal from Iokath to the shadow world of Umbara and more specifically it is on a train that is carrying Adegan Crystals. The Commander asked if the traitor was or is in collboration with Sith or Jedi due to the crystals' affinity with the Force. Lana noted that it was possible but she then reminds that Darth Malgus used those very crystals for his stealth armada and ever since the defeat of the false emperor an entire new warfare on stealth technology had emerged. The Commander quickly ordered that they will personally capture the traitor and immediately set towards Umbara.

Lana and the Commander recovered and were confused about Theron's betrayal but still remained firm on stopping his escape and they cut down all the native Umbarans that Theron had set upon them as well as collecting the Adegan Crystals that were recovered from the crash site. Upon arriving to the ship's location. Theron departed with the ship leaving Lana and the Commander stranded.
