"Through the Force, a Jedi can endure even the most debilitating pain. Remember the Battle of Nar Shaddaa. Master Crucitorn fought on even after being immolated by the Flame-Wielders."
―Dooku to Qui-Gon Jinn — 20?cb=20250116042720 ▶️ (file info)[2]

Crucitorn[3] was a Jedi Master who served in the Jedi Order. During the Battle of Nar Shaddaa,[2] that took place before 68 BBY,[1] between the Order and the Flame-Wielders, Crucitorn became immolated by the latter, but managed to endure the pain and fight back.[2] Around 68 BBY,[1] Jedi Master Dooku cited Crucitorn's battle as an example when demonstrating pain endurance to his Padawan, Qui-Gon Jinn.[2]

Dooku later told his sister, Jenza, about his conversation with Jinn in a holo-letter.[2] Around 23 BBY,[4] Dooku gave several data disks containing his messages to Jenza to his recently recruited Sith assassinAsajj Ventress—for her investigation into his sister's location, and she listened to the holo-disk that mentioned Crucitorn.[2]

Behind the scenes[]

Crucitorn was mentioned in the audio drama Dooku: Jedi Lost, written by Cavan Scott[2] and published on April 30, 2019.[5] The spelling of Crucitorn's name was confirmed by the script of the audio drama,[3] which was released on October 1, 2019.[5]
