Crude was an especially potent and illegal drug that came in small pill or capsule form. On Coruscant, the Works were known for their crude peddlers. The drug was a hard psychotropic that created the sense that the user's inhibitions were no longer as large as their insecurities, triggering a selfish pursuit of basely impulses.
