History[]
The Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs cooked baked cushnip with fral at the castle of the pirate Maz Kanata around thirty years before the Battle of Endor.[3]
Cushnip was available on the moon Toshara[4] in 3 ABY.[5] In was listed as costing five credits on both the menu at the Hot Pot eatery in the market of the city Mirogana and at the Daruda Diner in the town of Jaunta's Hope, both located on the moon.[4]
Behind the scenes[]
Cushnip first appeared as a prop in Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens, a film released in 2015. It was not identified in the film, but was named in the reference book Star Wars: The Force Awakens: The Visual Dictionary, written by Pablo Hidalgo and released the day after the film.
