- "Never again will you be forced to wear a professional party smile when, for all you know, the Cuvacian ambassador has just made a disparaging remark about your parental heritage. With a CLS transliterator you can identify the off-color remark for what it is, and, much to your guest's surprise, return the complement [sic] in kind with a verbal repartee that will mark you as a social force to be reckoned with."

The Cuvacian ambassador was an individual[1] who originated from[2] the Core Worlds' Cuvacia system[3] and fulfilled the duties of an ambassador by the time of the reign of the Galactic Empire.[1] At some point between 0 ABY and 3 ABY,[4] an advertisement for Consolidated Learning Systems' transliterator in the fiftieth-anniversary edition of Galladinium's Galactic Datalog of Fantastic Technology mentioned the Cuvacian ambassador. The advertisement promised that the owner of the alien language and dialect phrase—including slang—translator would need not face a situation where they were forced to act courteously at a party while the ambassador spoke in a non–Galactic Basic Standard language—and, unbeknown by the other person, delivered an insult about their parental heritage.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The Cuvacian ambassador was mentioned in Galladinium's Fantastic Technology, a 1995 sourcebook authored by Rick D. Stuart for use with West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[1]

Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for the Cuvacian ambassador in relation to the Cuvacia system.
