The scientist Dr Cylo maintained his own army of marines aboard his whale fleet. Several marines were killed when Darth Vader, Dr Aphra, and her squad breached Cylo's flagship.^[1] These soldiers saw action against Imperial forces during Cylo's attempted hijacking of the Super Star Destroyer Executor as part of a plot to overthrow Emperor Palpatine.^[2] Cylo's remaining marines were killed by Lord Vader aboard Cylo's second flagship, which crashed into a star, killing Cylo.^[3]
