Cylo's research base

Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A research base was made up of many large, armored Whale-ships and was the headquarters of Doctor Cylo, an agent working for Darth Sidious, the ruler of the Galactic Empire. It was on this base that Cylo conducted his research into creating new forms of life, combining various alien parts and cybernetics; the doctor's ultimate goal was to convince the Emperor to replace his apprentice, Darth Vader, with his creations.^[1]

Cylo's cyborgs were also trained for combat in this facility; they included, Morit and Aiolin Astarte, Tulon Voidgazer, and Commander Karbin. A permanent garrison was also maintained on the base to protect Cylo's operation from attackers.^[1]^[3]

After discovering Cylo's mission for the Emperor and his Master's plans to replace him, Vader led a mission to the base which he had discovered from Cylo-IV to investigate his potential replacements.^[1]
