- "Can you help me? The lower maintenance areas are full of droids, but there are also security droids in the area. The droids must be destroyed, but we can't risk harming the security ones."
- ―Lieutenant Cyru Sarkee, to a spacer
Cyru Sarkee was a male Human Meatlump who lived on the planet Corellia during the Galactic Civil War. Following the Battle of Yavin, he was a lieutenant of the technology-hating Meatlumps and operated out of the Meatlump Hideout in Coronet City.[1] In 1 ABY,[2] he tasked a spacer to destroy droids in the lower maintenance areas of Coronet's maintenance tunnels. The spacer therefore descended into the hostile lower maintenance areas and attacked the droids, mostly utilitarian droids, working in the area. As ordered by Sarkee, the spacer avoided to attack the security droids, S-1 and S-2 security droids, patrolling the tunnels to not alarm the Corellian Security Force. The spacer finally destroyed thirty-four EG-6 power droids, MSE-6-series repair droids, R5-series astromech droids and blastromech droids.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Cyru Sarkee appeared as a non-player character in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[3] Cyru Sarkee was added to the game as part of the "Meatlumps Theme Park," introduced with "Chapter 10: The Search for the Meatlump King," released on June 19, 2008.[4]

Star Wars Galaxies (post-NGE) — Quest: "Destroy Non-Security Droids" on Corellia
- ↑ The opening crawl of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided dates the game to after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and additionally, Serji-X Arrogantus, who died in Star Wars (1977) 10—the events of which The New Essential Chronology dates to 0 ABY—appears in the game. Therefore, at least a portion of Star Wars Galaxies must be set in that year. Furthermore, in the game Ruwan Tokai references the destruction of the Death Star as having occurred one year earlier, and Strongholds of Resistance also places the events of Galaxies' Chapter 9: "The Fury of Exar Kun" in 1 ABY. Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
