D0-M9 or Dom was a droid companion of a smuggler named Kaya active during the Galactic War. In 3637 BBY, the duo was part of a crew that made a run to Rakata Prime, of which Kaya was the only survivor after an attack by the native Rakata. Dom helped Kaya escape by attacking her pursuers with their starship's blaster cannons, however upon leaving the atmosphere they encountered a fleet belonging to the Order of Revan. Kaya and D0-M9 wisely decided to lay low for a while and headed to Raider's Cove on Rishi, where they visited the Blaster's Path cantina.
