The DXR-6b disruptor rifle, sometimes improperly named DXR-6 disruptor rifle, was a disruptor rifle variant of the DXR-6 disruptor produced by the Tenloss Syndicate during the Galactic Civil War. This weapon possessed an oversized XCiter that permitted the actuating blaster module to process great volumes of blaster gas to produce powerful shots.[1]
During 1 ABY,[2] Geonosian scientists working at a secret bio-lab on Yavin 4 had schematics for the DXR-6b rifle, which was enhanced by two Geonosian power cubes.[3]

The DXR-6b disruptor rifle appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[4] The DXR-6b disruptor rifle was added to the game along with the Geonosian Bio-Lab introduced in the update released on February 24, 2004.[5]

Therefore, at least a portion of Star Wars Galaxies must be set in that year.
