During the rule of the Galactic Empire, King of Mon Cala Lee-Char maintained a palace in Dac City on the Outer Rim world Mon Cala. The palace was a target by the Inquisitorius during the Battle of Dac City, and, along with Dac City and the rest of the surface cities, was destroyed by enormous sea creatures.[3]

The palace in Dac City debuted in the 2018 canon comic Darth Vader (2017) 13, written by Charles Soule and pencilled Giuseppe Camuncoli.[2]
