"Farglblag?"
"Sorry."
"How do you spell it?"
―Dagga Marl and Thrackan Sal-Solo[src]

"Dagga Farglblag" was an alias given to the Human female bodyguard Dagga Marl—much to her dismay—by Peace Brigade leader Thrackan Sal-Solo when they were both captured by the New Republic at the Battle of Ylesia during the Yuuzhan Vong War[1] in 28 ABY.[2] Assuming the mantle of Ludus Fazum, the Peace Brigade leader claimed himself and his companion to be a couple who were refugees from the[1] Mid Rim world[3] Falleen that were taken to the[1] Hutt Space world[3] Ylesia to work as house slaves; Sal-Solo had, in fact, been appointed President of Ylesia by the invading Yuuzhan Vong. Maintaining the charade, Marl irritably queried Sal-Solo on how the name was supposed to be spelled. The ruse failed when Sal-Solo's cousin and Jedi Knight Jaina Solo arrived on the scene and arrested Sal-Solo and Marl.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

The alias "Dagga Farglblag" was used for the character Dagga Marl in Walter Jon Williams' 2002 eBook, The New Jedi Order: Ylesia.[1]
