Daniel Wroughton Craig is an English actor best known for portraying James Bond in the films Casino Royale (2006), Quantum of Solace (2008), Skyfall (2012), Spectre (2015), and No Time to Die (2021). He has also appeared in such films as Elizabeth (1998), Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001), Road to Perdition (2002), Sylvia (2003), Layer Cake (2004), Munich (2005), The Golden Compass (2007), Defiance (2008), Cowboys & Aliens (2011), and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011).
Craig appears (uncredited) in Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens (2015) as the stormtrooper who releases Rey from captivity on Starkiller Base after she uses a Jedi mind trick against him.[1] Craig first appeared in a Lucasfilm production in the 1990s, when he played a German military officer in an episode of The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles.
