- "Danzikans are a swamp-dwelling species, instantly recognizable by their two heads."
- ―An artist's journal entry on the Danzikans
Danzik was a terrestrial astronomical object[4] located in the regions known as the Outer Rim Territories[1] and the New Territories.[2] It was situated in grid square M-3 of the Standard Galactic Grid, and the hyperspace route[1] known as the Veragi Trade Route[3] connected it to the celestial bodies Sernpidal[1] and Birgis.[6] Danzik had swamps on its surface.[4]
Danzik was the homeworld of the two-headed sentient Danzikan species,[4] who spoke the Danzikan language.[5] It was eventually mentioned in an entry of an artist's journal dedicated to the Danzikans. The journal was eventually restored, expanded, and displayed at the Graf Archive[4] at some point no earlier than 34 ABY.[7]
Behind the scenes[]
Danzik was introduced in the 2018 reference book Star Wars: Alien Archive by Natalie Clubb and Katrina Pallant.[4]
