The Dark Quarter was a location of Yuw.[1] At some point prior to the Battle of Hoth in 3 ABY,[2] the Sith Lord Darth Vader learned of a plot to assassinate him, and subsequently traveled to the Dark Quarter, where he interrogated and killed several bounty hunters in order to gain information on the organization behind the plot, the Hidden Hand criminal syndicate.[1]

The Dark Quarter appeared in the first issue of the 2019 comic-book series Star Wars: Target Vader, written by Robbie Thompson, illustrated by Marc Laming and Cris Bolson, and released by Marvel Comics[1] on July 3, 2019.[3]

Notes and references[edit | edit source]

  1. 1.0 1.1 1.2 1.3 Target Vader 1
  2. Star Wars: Target Vader is set before Empire Ascendant 1, which in turn takes place before the Battle of Hoth. Therefore, the events of Target Vader 1, including the Dark Quarter's appearance, must take place sometime before the Battle of Hoth, which Star Wars: Galactic Atlas dates to 3 ABY.
