Darktroopers were a group of elite stormtroopers[3] empowered with the dark side of the Force used by the Dark Empire during Operation Shadow Hand. The best troopers in the legions[2] received limited Force training that made them far deadlier than the average stormtrooper.[3] In the year 10 ABY,[4] they served under Zasm Katth and Baddon Fass on Nar Shaddaa[1] and later on Ossus under the command of Sedriss QL.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
The 1998 real-time strategy game Star Wars: Rebellion mistakenly conflated the game's dark trooper battle droids with darktroopers, suggesting the droids were force-sensitive stormtroopers using "enhanced exo-armor and weaponry."[3]
