"Darth Vader" is the first booklet of Star Wars Encyclopedia, a series of canon reference booklets published in French by Altaya on August 5, 2020[1] and published in Spanish by De Agostini on August 25, 2020.[2]

Publisher's summary[edit | edit source]

Formerly known as Anakin Skywalker, Darth Vader arises from the remains of the latter, rescued by Emperor Palpatine from the lava of Mustafar. Totally dominated by the dark side, Vader became the armed right arm of his master, sowing terror in the galaxy with his famous black armor and his terrible powers drawn from the Force. He quickly became the symbol of the tyrannical power of the Galactic Empire.

Continuity[edit | edit source]

  • The book gives inaccurate measurements for Vader's armor: The height is given as 2.02 meters and the weight is given as 136 kilograms; the correct height is 2.03 meters, and the correct weight is 120 kilos.[3]
