David Tomblin (born October 18, 1930-July 20, 2005) was the first assistant director on Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back[1] and Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi (1983). He also wrote and directed Warwick Davis' short film Return of the Ewok during production on Return of the Jedi in 1982. In this film, he starred as the voice of Darth Vader and Boba Fett over actor Jeremy Bulloch.
