Daxam IV was a cold, desert planet in the Outer Rim Territories that[1] in 28 ABY,[2] was home to many members of the warrior culture known as the Amaxines. The planet was represented by the Centrists in the New Republic, but in contrast to typical Centrist doctrine, was mostly self-reliant and limited offplanet commerce. Daxam IV was near the planet Pamarthe, and many Pamarthen pilots were recruited to work there. The planet revolved around two suns but orbited at the edge of its system, making for an extremely cold climate.[1]

  2. TwitterLogo Del Rey (@DelReyStarWars) on Twitter "So excited to have @claudiagray writing a #StarWars novel with us. SW: New Republic: Bloodline coming 2016. Set 6 years before TFA." (screenshot) The tweet in question states that the events of Bloodline take place six years before the events of the film Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens. Star Wars: Galactic Atlas establishes that the events of The Force Awakens take place in the year 34 ABY and so using simple math it can be concluded that the events of Bloodline take place in 28 ABY.
