Death Star Troopers were elite Imperial Navy Troopers who were stationed aboard both the first and second Death Stars. Death Star Troopers piloted the battle stations to their destinations, as well as fired the superlaser.[7] They maintained an officer corps, consisting of troopers who had been trained in leadership and administration along with standard Death Star Trooper training.[2]
