The Defense Council building was the headquarters of the New Republic Senate Defense Council on the capital planet Coruscant. It was located in a skyscraper surrounded by repulsor platforms and a number of pedestrian skybridges connected to multiple levels of the building. It prominently featured the Great Galactic Seal on its top and a large New Republic flag above an entrance. The skyscraper was part of a complex that included[1] the headquarters of the New Republic Amnesty Program,[2] as the two were built side by side and directly connected with each other.[1]
