Delaya was a location in the galaxy near the planet Alderaan.[1] In 0 BBY,[2] Belaya Rist, the Chief Executive Officer of CryonCorp and a Rebel Alliance sympathizer, witnessed the destruction of Alderaan from Delaya. In the aftermath of Alderaan's destruction, Rist invited the Alliance to hijack several shipments of her company's low-feedback scanners.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Delaya was first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon by the 2016 sourcebook Forged in Battle, a supplement to Fantasy Flight Games' Star Wars: Age of Rebellion roleplaying game system.[1]
In the Star Wars Legends continuity, Delaya was a planet in the Alderaan system.[3] It was first mentioned in Galaxy Guide 3: The Empire Strikes Back, a 1989 roleplaying supplement authored by Michael Stern for use with West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[4] Delaya then made its first appearance in the 1998 video game Star Wars: Rebellion.[5]
