Delva Racine was a female individual. Her outwardly-species appearance was altered by the strange eye goggles and the horn-like mask that covered her nose and mouth.[1] She worked as a high-fashion designer.[2]
Biography
In 19 BBY, she was one of the many patrons seen milling about the Galaxies Opera House during the Squid Lake performance when Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker ran into the opera house to meet Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine.[3] Racine eventually got to design the hanging sleeved white dress that Leia Organa wore[4] during the Royal Award Ceremony on Yavin 4.[5]
Behind the scenes
The character was played in the film by real life British fashion designer Alice Shreeve who is creative director of the London based womenswear label Belle & Bunty.[source?]
