Demiloch was a terrestrial astronomical object[4] located in an eponymous star system in Lannik Space within an intersecting portion of the Mid Rim Territories[1] and the Slice regions.[2] Positioned at the coordinates R-13 on the Standard Galactic Grid, it was connected by hyperspace route to the astronomical objects Daalang and Lannik.[3] Sometime by the year 3 ABY,[5] the Rebel Alliance's 61st Mobile Infantry held a recruitment drive on Demiloch.[4]
During the recruitment, an Imperial spy who had pretended to be a recruit shot Captain Micha Evon, the commanding officer of the company. Evon survived the shot and was unconscious for two days, eventually recovering. As a result of the incident, Lieutenant Sairgon, Evon's second-in-command, cut the recruitment drive short. The incident on Demiloch was later brought up during Evon's funeral[4] in 3 ABY[5] by the rebel soldier and former bounty hunter Brand.[4]
