Denn Wessex was a male Human and one of the first to be appointed to the rank of Moff, or regional governor.

Biography[]

Wessex served as a commander aboard the Venator-class Star Destroyer Redoubt during the Battle of Boz Pity (20 BBY). His courage under Separatist fleet fire made him a hero. Soon after, he married Lira Blissex, a chief designer of the Venator-class.

When Emperor Palpatine declared his Galactic Empire in 19 BBY, Wessex was made Grand Moff of the Relgim Oversector and assumed the role of commander of the Ninth Army.^[1]
