The content of this Star Wars Legends article was cut.

This article covers a subject that was cut from the final version of a Star Wars Legends source. The subject appeared in no other source and was therefore considered non-canon within the Legends continuity.

"I have studied your movements, seen you fight, and I have already killed you a dozen times over."
―Dessicus[src]

Dessicus was the leader of the Genoharadan faction on Nar Shaddaa. The Jedi Exile tracked him down in an attempt to get the bounty on her and her companions lifted. Dessicus had studied her combat movements, and was confident that he could defeat her. He lost, however, and suffered mortal injuries. However, the base was closely tied to his life support systems. Once his heart stopped beating, the headquarters began to self-destruct, and the Exile narrowly avoided a fiery death. The explosion destroyed all evidence that the Genoharadan were on the planet, in accordance with their secrecy policy.

Behind the scenes

Dessicus was originally supposed to be found in the underground citadel beneath the Jekk'Jekk Tarr. When the citadel self-destructed, the Exile would have been rescued from a fiery death by Zez-Kai Ell, though her companions, and Darth Sion, would believe her to be dead for a short period of time. When the Genoharadan were removed from KotOR II, presumably due to time constraints, the underground hideout was reassigned to Visquis.

The Genoharadan, with Dessicus, will be restored by The Sith Lords Restoration Project. However, it will take place much later in the game than originally intended.
