The destruction of the Taris shipyards took place during the Galactic Civil War when the Alliance to Restore the Republic launched an attack on the shipyards of the Galactic Empire that was servicing an Imperial-class Star Destroyer. Blade Squadron deployed bombs while Rogue Squadron fended off Imperial TIE fighters. The shipyard and the Star Destroyer were destroyed.[1]
