Deysum was an astronomical object located within the regions known as the Mid Rim Territories[1] and the Slice.[2] Situated in grid square Q-10 on the Standard Galactic Grid, Deysum was connected via a hyperspace route to the astronomical objects Randon and Uogo'cor.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Deysum was first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon on a galactic map in Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game, a 2016 boxed set for Fantasy Flight Games' series of Star Wars Roleplaying products.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the planet Deysum III was introduced in "Changing the Balance," a roleplaying adventure authored by Bill Smith and Ed Stark, and published as part of the Star Wars Gamemaster Kit by West End Games in 1991 for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[3]
