"Dianoga" is the twentieth episode of the webseries Star Wars Galaxy of Creatures. The episode was released on StarWarsKids.com on February 7, 2023, alongside the series' nineteenth episode, "Ice Spider."[1]

Aree gets more than he bargained for while trying to learn the true size of a shy dianoga.[3]
Plot summary[]
Aree and CAM visit the junkyard world of Bracca to visit the dianogas, who rise beneath the oceans of the planet. Aree explains that the creatures hide beneath the waters and uses a periscope to peer beneath the murky depths. Aree finds a shiny piece of metal. Believing that the dianoga has eaten all the biological material associated with the metal, he asks CAM to lure it out with kaadu eggs.
However, the dianoga takes the first batch of eggs and retreats underwater. Aree decides put the rest of the eggs inside his metallic chassis and swims into the depths of the ocean with CAM by his side. They soon encounter the dianoga, which Aree describes as larger than a rancor raised on bronto steaks. The dianoga takes an interest in the eggs inside Aree but the droid is unable to release them.
CAM runs circles around the dianoga until the dianoga swipes him into Aree, causing Aree's chassis to release the kaadu eggs. The dianoga pursues the eggs. After he and CAM return to the surface, Aree surmises that dianoga keep their size a secret in order to surprise both their prey and predator. He tells the dianoga that its secret is safe with them before he and CAM depart in their starship.

Therefore, porgs must have been introduced to Batuu between those stories, which corresponds to 34 ABY per this reasoning, meaning that the events of Star Wars Galaxy of Creatures take place during or after 34 ABY.
