The Din Pulsar was a pulsar in the Din system,[2] located within the Din Nebula in the Inner Zuma Region of the Moddell sector of the Outer Rim Territories.[1] It was located less than 1,000 light-years above the galactic plane, within the so-called "thin disk",[1] which extended a thousand light-years above and below the plane.[3]

The pulsar was the remnant the of the star Din that went supernova around 5000 BBY. Its magnetic pulses complicated hyperspatial travel along the nearby route between Endor and Trindello, damaging hyperdrives. The shimmering nebula surrounding the pulsar was known to the Ewoks of Endor as the Gorax King's Heart, after an old legend in which the Ewoks' Golden Sun God imprisoned the Gorax king in the night sky.[2]
