Sometime following 0 BBY, the Empire started to suspect that Whisper was selling information about the Empire's operations to the Rebel Alliance. Sergeant Hume Tarl enlisted the help of an Imperial agent to track Whisper down and arrest her. During questioning, Whisper revealed the location of a small black market outpost near Coronet where information and weapons were sold to the Rebel Alliance.

Dina Whisper was a non-player character in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts. The game was shut down on December 15, 2011. Due to the nature of many older quests in Star Wars Galaxies, the species and appearance of Dina Whisper changed each time a player performed this quest. Therefore, it is impossible to verify the canonical species of Whisper. However, the quest dialogue given by Tarl indicated that Dina Whisper was a female.
