Dinge was a captain in the Naboo Royal Space Fighter Corps, who was based in the Theed Royal Palace on Naboo. In 1 ABY he took on a spacer as a new recruit to the Fighter Corps, who he set a number of missions to combat Black Sun forces operating in the Naboo system. When the recruit had completed these, Dinge sent him on to undertake some missions for Captain Kaydine.
