Dirha was a gritty industrial planet[2] that was located within the Dirha system of the galaxy's Hutt Space region[1] and lay on the hyperlane[2] called the Sisar Run,[3] which connected it to the world of Cyborrea[2] and the Sespe system.[3]
Dirha lay within the sphere of influence of the Vosadii kajidic, a clan of the Hutt species,[5] and served as a refueling point for starships that traveled along the hyperlane toward the planets of Nimban and Nar Kreeta. After the military forces of the extra-galactic Yuuzhan Vong species invaded the Hutt Space, Dirha was terraformed by members of the species[2] between 25 ABY and 29 ABY[4] in a process called Vongforming.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
Dirha was first mentioned in The Essential Atlas, a 2009 reference book co-authored by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace, which placed the planet in grid square S-9.[2]
