Doctor Aphra 9 is the ninth issue of the canon comic book series Star Wars: Doctor Aphra. It was written by Alyssa Wong; illustrated by Minkyu Jung, Victor Olazaba, and Rachelle Rosenberg; and first published by Marvel Comics on April 21, 2021. It features the story "The Engine Job Part 4: Impossibilities," in which Chelli Lona Aphra and Sana Starros cheat death and pursue the De'Rruyet hyperdrive.

Plot summary[]

Rogue archeologist Doctor Aphra is working for Domina Tagge, the incredibly powerful head of the Tagge Corporation.
The job: steal experimental hyperdrive tech from Domina's rival.

To get it done, Aphra's recruited smuggler Sana Starros. But the ruthless General Vukorah
and her Unbroken Clan syndicate are also after the hyperdrive.

The trail led Aphra and Sana to an ancient battlefield on the planet Dol'har Hyde where Vukurah [sic] attacked and left them for dead….
