Donadus was an astronomical object[2] located in the Donadus system, a part of the Inner Rim's Bamula sector.[1] It shared its name with the sentient species Donadi.[3]
The pirate group[4] known as the Chorran shipjackers operated out of Donadus.[2] At some point between 17 BBY and 0 ABY,[5] the Human bounty hunter Beilert Valance led a group of mercenaries in routing the Donadus-based pirates, a mission that helped Valance attain the status of an elite hunter.[2]

Donadus was first mentioned in "The Hunt Within: Valance's Tale: Part 1," a Wizards.com roleplaying article containing "Mission 1: Raid on Picutorion," a scenario for use with the Wizards of the Coast Star Wars Miniatures game. The article was authored by Jason Fry and published on December 2, 2004.[2] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Donadus system, and therefore the celestial body Donadus, within grid square J-13.[6]
